The City of Goodyear Fire Station No. 181 project included the new construction of a 16,126- square-foot facility on a 4.6-acre site in Goodyear, AZ. The project entails three apparatus bays, nine dormitories, firefighter offices, captain’s offices, a day room, a dining room, a fitness center, a lobby, and a decontamination corridor. The fire station was built on a concrete foundation with a load-bearing masonry structural frame, a masonry, and exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS), and a metal panel and single-ply roof.
