The Timber Mesa Fire Station No. 17 project included the new construction of a 13,638-square-foot fire station located in Show Low, AZ. The facility houses three vehicles bays and six dormitories. The project features a fitness room for firefighters, a medical exam room for public use, an on-site water tank, a communications tower, a bio-kinetic septic system, an on-site propane tank for heating and cooling, and wood-stained structural elements throughout the building. The fire station was constructed on a slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a masonry structural frame, an exterior of brick veneer and masonry, and an asphalt shingle roof. Timber Mesa Fire Station No. 17 now provides a modernized facility for firefighters in Navajo County.
