The Larkspur Elementary School Campus Replacement project, built for the Paradise Valley Unified School District, included the renovation of 10,609 square feet of existing classroom space, and the new construction of a 66,529-square-foot replacement elementary school located in Phoenix, AZ. The facility supports approximately 517 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The project features new administrative offices, a media center with an adjoining computer lab, a multipurpose room with a stage and kitchen, and 24 additional classrooms. The elementary school was constructed on a concrete foundation with a concrete masonry unit block and steel structural frame. An exterior of concrete masonry unit block and stucco with a built-up roof completed the construction. Due to CORE’s efficient project management and coordination, the Larkspur Elementary School Campus Replacement project was completed during the school year with minimal disruption to the learning environment.
