The City of Denton Fire Station No. 9 project involved the construction of a new two-story, 14,421-square-foot station in Denton, TX. The apparatus bay includes a shop area, and is connected to the facility through a turnout room, complete with proper laundry and equipment storage facilities for supporting first responder health. The station’s first floor also features a common area, ADA restrooms, an office, electrical and mechanical rooms, and a storage mezzanine. The second floor comprises a kitchen and dining area, a day room, dormitories, ADA restrooms, offices, and an observation deck. An elevator connects the floors, and two fire poles lead down to the first floor.
