The City of Dallas Police Department Bexar Street Reinvestment Center project included the new construction of a 7,198-square-foot police station located in Dallas, TX. The facility functions as a patrol substation and a Neighborhood Assistance Center serving the communities of Bexar Street and Hooper Avenue. The project features bullet resistant transaction windows, aluminum framed storefront windows, metal duty lockers for officers and staff, and public restrooms in addition to a secured access parking lot, laundry room, ornamental fencing with gates, and concrete exterior paving with landscaping. The police station was constructed of a spread footing, grade beam, and slab-on-grade concrete foundation, a steel structural frame, an exterior comprised of brick, metal panels, and cement boards, and a TPO roof.
