The Boulder City High School Replacement Phase III – Performing Arts Center project, built as part of a complete, phased replacement of the campus for Clark County School District, included selective demolition and the new construction of a two-story, 21,830-square-foot theatrical complex on the active campus of Boulder City High School located in Boulder City, NV. The facility houses a drama room, a music room, a multimedia production studio, and a 400-seat capacity auditorium with a stage and associated storage. The project also featured the demolition of the existing student parking lot and the construction of a new parent/staff parking lot in a different area on the school’s campus. The performing arts center was constructed on a slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a masonry and steel structural frame. A masonry exterior and a steel joist TPO roof completed the construction. The Boulder City High School Replacement Phase III – Performing Arts Center project completed the campus replacement and now offers its students, faculty, and staff a modern, state-of-the-art high school campus which will serve the community for years to come.
