The Schnepf Elementary School project, built for Queen Creek Unified School District, included the new construction of a 69,425-square-foot elementary school campus located in Queen Creek, AZ. The campus includes a two-story classroom building housing kindergarten through sixth grade, a smart lab/STEM area, a multipurpose building with administrative offices, and cafeteria/gymnasium combination space with a stage and music rooms. The project also features two parking lots to separate parent drop off and bus traffic, three playground areas, and a large grass and hardscape courtyard area. The elementary school was constructed on a concrete foundation supported by footings and masonry stem walls with a structural frame comprised of concrete masonry unit block and steel, a metal panel soffit overhang, and a TPO roof. The Schnepf Elementary School project now provides a state-of-the-art learning environment for elementary school students in the brand new Harvest Development in Queen Creek.
