The Buckeye Valley Fire Station No. 326 project, built for Buckeye Valley Fire District, included the new construction of a 15,192 square foot fire station on a five-acre site located in Buckeye, AZ. The new fire station was constructed with an insulating concrete form and steel joist structural frame, masonry and stucco exterior, and standing seam metal roof. The project features three apparatus bays, accommodations for ten firefighters, and a training/multi-use room for approximately 35 people. This station achieved LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for on-site wastewater treatment, thermal solar heating system and a photovoltaic system for energy generation. The Buckeye Valley Fire Station No. 326 now serves the community of Rainbow Valley in an energy efficient, state-of-the-art facility.
